7 Common Myths That Can Ruin a Good Relationship
If you’d ask me for relationship advice, I would tell you to ignore these outdated ideas.

I’ll admit I still watch cheesy movies from time to time. You know, the ones that try to sell us the perfect love story. The characters fall in love in two days, get married after a month, and live happily ever after. They rarely fight, and when they do, they always end up kissing in the pouring rain. Classic popcorn movies. The problem is, real life is not really like that.
Relationships are hard. If you want to make it work, you have to put in some effort, and unrealistic expectations make things even harder. At least that’s what my friends and I concluded.
We’re a group of four women who live on different continents and have very different schedules and lifestyles. However, we always make time for group calls. This month’s topic: relationships. We don’t discuss our own relationships, nor do we share intimate details. We’re past that.
However, we discuss ideas. Nothing is off-limits. We don’t always agree, but what I love is that we hold space for each other. That’s why our conversations are truly some of the most inspiring. Every time I hang up, I feel like I’ve learned something new.
