9 Free Tools That Will Make You a Much Better Writer

I’ve been writing online for almost nine years now so it’s safe to say that I’ve had enough time to test dozens of writing tools. I’ve worked as a full-time writer for a glossy magazine, a copywriter for a marketing agency, and a content writer/blogger for various local publications.
I quit all of that back in 2017 and have been freelancing since then. Now I mostly take ghostwriting gigs because that’s what I love to do the most, honestly.
While these roles I’ve just mentioned are very different from one another, they all have something in common — writing.
And since English is my second language, I always use different tools to make sure I’m not making any writing mistakes (spoiler: I still do but done is better than perfect so here we are).
Out of everything I’ve tried, I honestly believe these are the best ones so I want to share them with other fellow writers.
I’ve selected writing and editing tools, as well as some search engines that you can trust. Writing from your own experience is awesome, but when you have scientific data to back it up, it takes your article to the next level.
